Toronto FC and host New England Revolution exchanged second-half goals and played to a 1-1 draw on Saturday night.
Theo Corbeanu got Toronto on the scoreboard in the 75th minute, taking a Djordje Mihailovic pass and putting his right-footed shot past a diving Matt Turner for his sixth goal of the season. Mihailovic's assist is his third in five games with the Reds.
Luca Langoni responded in the 90th minute as his shot deflected off TFC defender Sigurd Rosted and past keeper Luka Gavran.
With the draw, Toronto (5-13-11, 26 points) stretched its unbeaten streak to five games (0-0-5). The Reds have not lost since a 2-0 decision to Charlotte on July 26. Toronto is 3-1-3 in its last six trips to New England.
The Revolution (8-14-8, 32 points) avoided a third straight loss with the draw. The Revolution picked up a 2-0 victory on May 3 in the only other meeting between the two clubs this season.
New England controlled possession in the first half, but Toronto had the better-quality chances.
Gil had New England's first quality chance in the 21st minute, but Gavran saved his left-footed strike.
Then, in the 30th minute, Mihailovic had an opportunity for Toronto from outside the box, but Turner punched it over the bar.
Corbeanu beat Turner in the 40th minute but his shot went off the post.
Three minutes later, Corbeanu's left-footed shot from outside the box was saved by Turner.
TFC defender Kevin Long left the match in the 16th minute with an apparent hamstring injury and was replaced by Rosted. In the 53rd minute, Toronto captain Jonathan Osorio also left with a hamstring issue and was replaced by Maxime Dominguez.
Toronto returns to action next Saturday when it travels to Columbus, while New England hosts Philadelphia.
