Joel Farabee and Victor Olofsson scored second-period goals and the host Calgary Flames rode the momentum to a 4-1 victory over the Florida Panthers on Friday.
Matt Coronato and Morgan Frost also scored for Calgary (28-34-7, 63 points), which has won two straight but remains second-last in the league standings.
Goaltender Dustin Wolf made 24 saves.
Blake Coleman collected two assists.
Calgary has won seven consecutive home games against the two-time Stanley Cup champion Panthers, their longest streak against any opponent. The Flames took both meetings with Florida this season.
The Flames have won 53 consecutive games when scoring four or more goals, which is tied for the fourth longest streak in NHL history.
A.J. Greer scored for the Panthers (34-32-3, 71 points), who went 2-2 on their Western road trip and are 13 points out of a playoff position.
Goalie Daniil Tarasov stopped 32 shots.
After a scoreless first period, Farabee broke the ice at 7:44 of the second period. Farabee from a long range sent the puck toward the net and it ricocheted off the leg of Panthers defenseman Niko Mikkola.
Olofsson doubled the lead just past the midway point of the frame. Adam Klapka slipped a pass to him in the high slot and Olofsson sent a top-corner one-timer for his first goal since being acquired by the Flames at the trade deadline.
Greer gave the Panthers a jolt at 4:17 of the third period when his shot from the left circle was deflected by Calgary defenseman Hunter Brzustewicz and into the net.
Greer will likely face a suspension from the league after he shoved Calgary's Connor Zary in the back and sent him head-first into the boards later in the final frame. Greer was handed a minor for hooking, a major for interference and a game misconduct.
Calgary sealed the victory during the ensuing power plays. Frost made it a two-goal edge by pouncing on a rebound with 3:01 remaining in regulation.
Coronato rounded out the scoring 31 seconds later with a top-shelf shot while on a breakaway.
